Intimate North Georgia Wedding - Juliette Chapel, Dahlonega, GA
This intimate wedding at Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega, GA was such a fun evening to capture! Vanessa reached out to me and immediately was SO kind and trusting. She is an incredible wedding hair vendor (check out her work here) and I felt so honored that she chose ME to capture her wedding day!
Vanessa and Jonathan did private first looks and vows, which I think is so special. Jonathan’s reaction was priceless, and Vanessa looked SO stunning walking in the light. They read their vows and then we took some photos in the chapel of just them two. After that, we took some family photos. Taking family photos before the ceremony allows for more time with guests during the reception, and for us it meant more photos in daylight as the sunset was around 5pm!
After the photos, the ceremony began. It was such a beautiful union and I love how involved their families were during the ceremony. The gorgeous flowers were done by Verde Fleur (this is my 2nd wedding with them! Incredible florists). Following the ceremony was the cocktail hour with yummy drinks & an incredible grazing table by Graze and Vines. We took some more photos and then Vanessa & Jonathan had their first dance, father daughter dance, and mother son dance.
The temperature started to drop so we all headed inside for live music by Emerald Empire Band and hot chocolate by Aviator Coffee Co. The reception room at Juliette Chapel is one of my favorites - I especially love a candle lit dinner in this space. Their families made their speeches and everyone laughed and toasted as the night went on.
This night was such a beautiful celebration and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it! Cheers to Vanessa & Jonathan!!
