Roswell High School Senior Photos - Ellijay, GA

Early October came with lots of grey ‘sunsets’ this year - which left lots of people upset, but not sweet Ellie! She got out the car when we arrived at the session and she was SO excited for our shoot. We fully embraced the grey vibes and she absolutely killed it in front of the camera. Her outfits were some of my favorite ever, and we had so much fun shooting together under the looming sky.

We started off at one of my favorite fields and ran around in the grass while playing with wildflowers! Then we headed to a dock I found earlier that month, and Ellie actually got in the water for some AWESOME shots! She had told me prior that she really wanted a dock with access to water, so I did a bunch of research and scouting to find this spot for her and it ended up being perfect.

I absolutely love my seniors who embrace whatever weather and trust me to handle whatever lighting comes our way! This particular week in October was one of my most challenging as it would be sunny ALL DAY right up until my shoots started, making it too late to reschedule, and then grey clouds would come in out of nowhere. I have shot in ALL kinds of weather and I am confident in my ability to handle these situations, but I have to remind people sometimes that I cannot control the weather! Seniors like Ellie make these challenging weather situations worth it - and this shoot ended up being one of my favorites from this entire year. Not all of my shoots are going to be golden and sunny, and that is 10000% okay!

Here’s to embracing unpredictable weather and having fun during your senior shoot!!
