Intimate Wedding in the Mountains - Blue Ridge, GA

Amy + Blake’s Wedding Day was so so special. When Amy first reached out, she mentioned that her dream wedding was in the Blue Ridge Mountains (outdoors), but that she was worried about how cold it would be, and didn’t want to make her family freeze at their wedding! So we came up with the idea to do a first look in the mountains, with just Amy + Blake, and then we headed back to their cabin and had their ceremony with the fireplaces on inside, and such a cozy atmosphere.

The Ceremony itself was super sweet - Amy’s grandfather officiated it which made their wedding day all the more special! Inside the cabin, Amy and Blake’s family cooked a delicious brunch (the breakfast potatoes were AMAZING) and everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal inside while staying warm.

It was really the perfect winter morning and I feel so lucky to have been there. Amy + Blake, along with their families, really made me feel at home and I can’t thank them enough for choosing me to capture their special day! Cheers to the Gaithers!
