The most MAGICAL elopement with the sweetest couple ever. Annie & Brandon reached out wanting a waterfall elopement - and I was SO excited to help them plan. I put together a few waterfall options, and we ended up choosing this beautiful park just outside of Blue Ridge for their special day. We woke up super early for sunrise - only to be met with rain, but that didn't stop Annie & Brandon from having a beautiful ceremony. We had the whole place to ourselves and Andrew (my favorite officiant ;) married them among the falling leaves and rushing waterfall. Days like this truly remind me that I have my DREAM job. And DREAM couples. Thank you Annie & Brandon for trusting me to capture your special day!!
Read MoreWeekday sunrise elopements have become my favorite kind of wedding to photograph! Why should you elope at sunrise in the mountains? The getting up super early part isn’t so great, but everything else - from having the location to yourself, and the rest of the day to celebrate with friends and family (while I go home and edit!), it is truly a dream come true.
Read MoreAli & Dante travelled up to Ellijay, GA from Florida with their sweet dogs, Gunner & Chloe, wanting a ‘winter elopement in the mountains’ and they definitely got it!! This was one of the coldest days of my entire life - 27 degrees with an 11 degree wind chill. I had to take frequent breaks to keep my fingers from going numb, but it was 100000% worth it. They got married on top of my favorite mountain overlook here in Ellijay, GA and we watched as the early morning clouds hovered over the mountains…

Tierney & Dane have lived here for almost 2 years, and they showed me around all their favorite places in the area, including the most unreal beach for sunset towards the end of this blog post. I found the field from the earlier photos just by walking around (isn’t that wild??), and I absolutely love all the mountains in these photos.

Ellijay has become such a special place to me over the last few years, and this Autumnal Wedding was the perfect way to capture Ellijay’s beauty. The changing leaves, the vast fields and forests, the fall breeze and leftover summer sun - it couldn’t have been more dreamy.
Read MoreKarina & Andy got married on Oct 16th, 2022 and a year later decided to get dressed up again to celebrate their 1 year anniversary with a dreamy canoe sunrise anniversary session! We met just before sunrise at this beautiful lake and heard the birds chirping, along side some drilling and construction noises going on right next to us (LOL - the things you don’t see in the pictures!). It ended up being such a magical morning and I’m so happy I got to capture these moments for them.
Read MoreKevin + Tia are such a sweet, special couple - this day was actually the anniversary of when they met and I just loved spending this morning celebrating with them! We watched the sunrise come up over the mountains, they read some meaningful vows and said ‘I do,’ we went to the Ellijay Coffeehouse for coffee (my favorite place in Ellijay - their breakfast is so good too!!), and then ended the morning at one of my favorite North GA lakes with a charcuterie board and a picnic blanket. It was so perfect!
Read MoreAmy + Blake’s Wedding Day was so so special. When Amy first reached out, she mentioned that her dream wedding was in the Blue Ridge Mountains (outdoors), but that she was worried about how cold it would be, and didn’t want to make her family freeze at their wedding! So we came up with the idea to do a first look in the mountains, with just Amy + Blake, and then we headed back to their cabin and had their ceremony with the fireplaces on inside, and such a cozy atmosphere.
Read MoreHannah + Reed’s intimate Dolomites elopement was an unforgettable morning exploring the Italian Dolomites in Auronzo di Cadore, Italy. We woke up before sunrise and drove to the location we had decided on the day before - but when we got there, the fog was so thick that you couldn’t see a thing. So instead, we headed to a back up location and it was absolutely perfect. We hiked to a little area where you could see the mountains at their peak beauty, and began an intimate and private ceremony - with a view!
