Foggy engagement shoot of my dreams! This shoot with Mackenzie, Carson, and Cash (the most perfect dog), was so much fun. We had these locations to ourselves and the weather was so perfect!!! Mackenzie and Carson were so easy to talk to and I had so much fun getting to hangout with them while bonding over our love for pit bulls.
Read MoreSummer is my absolute favorite season - and it has been for a while now. I find that some of my most fulfilling and creative shoots come around at this time of year, and this couples session in Ellijay with Olivia & Henry was no different. I had posted on my story about wanting to do a photoshoot with a vintage bike, and I found this location last fall and knew it would be the perfect vibe. Olivia replied and said she had the most perfect bike - and she was so right! Incorporating something you love (eg cycling) into your session can make for such genuine & authentic couples photos. This session truly felt like a dream to me and I hope to do many more summer shoots this year!
Read MoreWe met up for this sunrise shoot only to be met with incredibly thick fog - out of nowhere. I’ll admit at first I was feeling pretty discouraged with the mountains being totally covered and no sun in sight, but it ended up being the coolest vibe ever for these photos and I am just obsessed with how they turned out. I took Kate’s high school senior portraits back in 2018, and now she is engaged to her high school sweetheart, David, and getting to take their engagement photos in the North Georgia mountains was such a full circle moment!
Read MoreWhen your original location has an entire WEDDING going on - you have to head to the backup location, which in our case was this super gorgeous hotel. We snuck inside (not really - they held the door open for us LOL), and headed upstairs to try and find some cool hallways/photo spots.
Read MoreWhen Baxter reached out to me to document their proposal I was BEYOND excited. He came to me before planning anything else - which is honestly my favorite thing! I was able to help him choose the location (this spot is a favorite of mine), the time of day (will forever advocate for sunrise), and how to have me capture it without Morgan seeing! We FaceTimed, planned, sent maps with arrows on where to go, and just got so excited for this morning.
Read MoreMeredith is my freshman year (random!) roommate and I am so happy that 5 years down the road I got to take photos of her and her sweet guy, Christian! I found this road a couple weeks ago and was so so excited to shoot on it for the first time. We were there for almost 2 hours and not a SINGLE car drove by - I love quiet places like this in the mountains! Just us, the cows, the crickets, and the moon!
Read MoreAlejandra + Cole are two of my dearest friends and this session was so so special. Alejandra and I met back in middle school and she used to model for my 12 year old self when I was just getting started in photography - this was such a full circle moment taking her photos again over 10 years later. Cole has been friends with my partner, Andrew, since they were 5 and I’ve known him since high school. He is such a great friend to the both of us!
Read MoreWhen I tell you Tricia + Travis are in love - I mean it. You can feel the love and joy just by being in their presence, and it really shines through in these photos.

Now, over 4 years later, I was lucky enough to photograph him and his sweet boyfriend, Connor in the North Georgia Mountains on the first night of July.
