Rainy Surprise Proposal - Ellijay, GA

This rainy engagement felt straight out of The Notebook!! Pouring rain, true love, and pure joy. I could tell from the moment that Charlie reached out, this was going to be a special proposal. Him and Jessie have been together since they were 13 and he was so excited to ask her to marry him.

Charlie and I met up early at the location and decided where he was going to propose all while Jessie’s friends were helping her get ready and driving her to the photoshoot. Once she arrived, Charlie waited for her and then got down on his knee in the rain.

I felt like I was watching a movie, and I was also getting so drenched (but luckily I had an umbrella for my gear). Jessie’s friends were so excited for her and it was such a joyful celebration after! We took a bunch more photos in the rain before saying our goodbyes.

I’m so happy for Charlie and Jessie, and I can’t wait to see what their future together holds.
