Surprise Proposal in the North Georgia Mountains

Nipuna reached out to me about planning a surprise proposal and I was SO excited to help out!! We decided that a couples session would be the perfect way to capture the moment without me having to hide or disguise myself (both of which I have done before for a proposal).

We started the morning off at one of my favorite places in North Georgia and explored the cool cliffs together. Then we headed to my cabin in Ellijay where we got some cozy mountain shots, and ended the morning with Nipuna getting down on one knee and asking Karen to marry him.

Nipuna and Karen are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure to photograph. Their energy was amazing, especially considering that the weather didn’t end up how we thought it would. Karen was so surprised and of course said yes!
