Dreamy Sunset Couples Session - Ellijay, GA

Meredith is my freshman year (random!) roommate and I am so happy that 5 years down the road I got to take photos of her and her sweet guy, Christian! I found this road a couple weeks ago and was so so excited to shoot on it for the first time. We were there for almost 2 hours and not a SINGLE car drove by - I love quiet places like this in the mountains! Just us, the cows, the crickets, and the moon!

Meredith + Christian danced in the sun and we watched the sky turn from blue to pink as the day came to an end. I love shooting around golden hour/dusk as it always creates such dreamy lighting. Every time I come across a new location, I always use a compass to determine where the sun will set so I know how the lighting will hit in photos! This road was beautiful at sunset, and I think it would be super magical at sunrise too - so if you’re down to get up early with your love, send me a message!!
