South Georgia Wedding - First Presbyterian Church of Augusta

Isabel + Jon’s wedding is what DREAMS ARE MADE OF!! The dress, the color palette, the details, the friends, the family, the venue, just everything was so so magical and I feel so lucky to have captured their special day.

They got married in their local church, First Presbyterian Church of Augusta, and it was such a beautiful location - plus the weather was PERFECT! It was supposed to rain all day, and it actually did, but only during the ceremony when everyone was inside! So Isabel + Jon got the good luck of rain on their wedding day without having to experience a soaking wet dress and tux.

Isabel + Jon opted to do a ‘First Touch’ instead of a first look and they read sweet letters to each other while holding hands with the door between them - this is such a special way to chat with your partner before the ceremony without having to do a first look!

Isabel did do a first look with her dad and brother, and I was definitely holding back the tears.

They had a quick ceremony in the church, and then we headed outside to do some photos and I am so obsessed with how they turned out! We then headed to the reception where I can confidently say I saw some of the best dance moves ever. SUCH a fun group of people!!

I really love these photos and I hope you do too. This was my first bigger wedding in over 2 years (thanks covid) and to be honest, I was kinda nervous, but Isabel, Jon, and their families made everything so easy and fun. Can’t thank them enough!! Enjoy xx
